Which Countries have the Highest Medals in Winter Olympics?

As the 2014 Winter Olympics began just less than two week ago each country is trying to accumulate the most gold medals. So far most of the events have winners this early claiming the gold, sliver, and bronze medals. Here is the list of the countries with the most gold medals:

1) Norway with 8 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 7 bronze medals and a total of 19 medals.

2) Germany also with 8 gold medals, 3 silver medals,  4 bronze medals and a total of   15 medals.

3) United States with 7 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 10 bronze medals and a total of 21 medals

4) Russia with 6 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 7 bronze medals and a total 22 medals
